Queen City Mechanicals is pleased to announce the addition of Chris Strassell to our team as we officially implement the establishment of an in-house CAD/BIM Department. Chris, a native of Cincinnati, has coordinated the plumbing and HVAC systems of many projects in the Tri State area and helped our market adopt the computer aided design platform nearly three decades ago. As manager of the CAD/BIM Department, Chris will utilize his years of experience to successfully establish, implement and grow Queen City Mechanicals design capabilities. The initial focus of the department will be to eliminate the outsourcing of all design efforts and to self-perform all the company’s plumbing coordination. As the implementation of the CAD/BIM department continues to develop, their efforts will foster growth in QCM’s pre-fabrication process through the creation and utilization of spool drawings to more efficiently build assemblies.
In his new role, Jeff will utilize his years of industry experience, problem solving ability and leadership skills to manage the field operations to ensure QCM’s projects are built with a focus on quality, completed on-time and within budget.
